The last week has pretty much been a blur. Between having a total veg-fest last weekend and then the most incredibly wild week, I am happy to be sitting on the couch this Friday night. Some check-ins:
Ellie is still adorable. and slimy. and says "baby", "mama", "dada", "daddy", "hi", and "poppop" now. She really only connected the meanings of "hi" and "mama" but it's amazing to see her first thing in the morning, standing in her crib, waiting for me... and, as clear as day, she'll say "Hi!" What?! Since when does MY BABY know this sort of stuff? You can just see her soaking everything up. For an 8 1/2 month old, she really is something.
Andrew is well. Dealing with tons of horrible duty, but well. Today he's doing some computer work and that always lifts his spirits. ;)
School is great. TONS OF WORK, but awesome.
And, now. The big one. The reason why my life is a blur and my ankles are literally dead. My new job.... Okay. It's awesome. The money is totally worth it, I love my boss, my co-workers are drama-free. But, wow. It's so much running around and climbing steps and sweating... but I really do like it. Mostly because I go there and ALL I think about it work- not laundry, grocery lists, diaper changes. I can just focus and work and it's almost relaxing. Hahahaa.
