November 2: I'm so thankful for how eeeeasy Ellie is. She's smart, funny, and simple. She gets up in the morning, eats a "nana" with her "dink" [banana with drink], plays around the living room, sits at her desk, pets Darwin, takes a power 90 minute nap, and then plays and plays and plays until bed time. She's been in cars, on planes, on a train, and never does it bug her. She can seriously hang with the rest of them. She is inquisitive and rarely scared. She enthusiastically says "hi!" to everyone that she meets, and she sits with her books, flipping the pages one-by-one, jibbering happily about whatever she thinks the story is about. She has a temper and is very stubborn, and I like her that way. I'm ever grateful to raise such a fierce personality.
