We left Wednesday night and met up with Michael and some of his friends around midnight. Poor Ellie was so tired, but being the superstar she is, she put her game face on and won the room. No. Shock. Then we headed to the hotel and cuddled in for the night. Then, as explained below, we had a strange fire drill situation and a second one around 2:30 that afternoon. Blah, blah. So! Fast forward to the fun!
Thursday was our beach day and after lunch, Ellie and I grabbed a nap. Then we went to Michael's house for some necessary Tony DiPaolo-ing. Yes, that is a verb.

[Whirlwind weekend, right?!]
Saturday was spent cleaning Michael's Church meetinghouse and driving to Dover for the Philadelphia Stake Conference at which we was a speaker!!!! Though this was not the original intention of this trip, I think we were all so pleased to be apart of his big night!
Driving to Dover |
On Sunday, we went to church and then headed home. I know, we Mormons have boundless energy. We also spent about 5 1/2 hours of our trip doing a church-related activity. Yahhhh.
The weekend was so awesome. I felt blessed to spend such quality time with Michael and made a beautiful new friendship with Alicia. There are few times that I have sought out a friend so fervently, but she is one of those. It is a pleasure to have friends that love you, your baby, and want nothing but the love of Heavenly Father for you. Thank you for the fun, guys!! :)
