Lifeguarding Ellie

Ellie came to me last week and said, "EEEEE lalala geegee mama llama" meaning "Mama llama, I want to become a lifeguard." And, being the stellar Mom that I am, I hooked her up with Rocky Gap State Park's finest, Rhett Wolford, for a one-day boot camp training to see if she had the swimming chops. The following ensued:

They practiced the art of sitting and looking like you're reaaaaaaally working. A+ Ellie!

They took an extended lunch break because, you know, no one ever drowns at mealtimes. A++ Ellie!!

They nursed their sunburnt skin by lounging around after work. A+++ Ellie!!!


Honestly, I see a bright future ahead of my little Michelle Phelps. Now, if only she could learn the art of changing her own diapers.
